Two kinds of water
Beside a well in Samaria, a tired traveller asked a woman for a drink. Then He told her something no well-digger ever could:
“Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”
John 4:13–14
Water Well Project exists for the first kind of water — the kind that ends a child’s thirst today and gives a family back the hours they would have spent walking for it. That matters enormously. Jesus never once treated physical need as beneath Him.
But He also never stopped there. And neither can we. The same Jesus who notices the bucket is reaching for the heart. Clean water and the gospel are not competing callings; they are the two hands of the same love.
The command we were never meant to file away
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:19–20
The Great Commission is not the Great Suggestion. It is the last instruction Jesus gave before He ascended, and it is addressed to every believer, not a professional few.
The evangelist Reinhard Bonnke famously summed up the assignment in four words: plunder hell, populate heaven. It sounds bold because it is. Jesus said of His church:
“Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Matthew 16:18
Gates don’t attack. Gates defend. That verse pictures a church on the move and the kingdom of darkness unable to hold back what God is taking back. Every person who meets Jesus is someone God has “delivered … from the power of darkness, and … translated … into the kingdom of his dear Son” (Colossians 1:13). And Heaven throws a party every time:
“Likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
Luke 15:7
Who we are — and what God has already done

Katie and I didn’t start with a strategy. In 2014 we started walking downtown Hamilton with coffee and one simple question: “Can we pray with you for anything?” That walk became Love on Hamilton, a weekly street-outreach movement of ordinary believers praying with people, meeting practical needs and sharing the hope of Jesus.
Over the years God has kept widening the circle:
- Overflow — a Sunday evening gathering launched in 2022, where the Holy Spirit is given full permission to move.
- The Jesus Festival — a free, family-friendly gathering where a whole city comes together to worship and hear about Jesus.
- Love on The World — carrying the same street-level love to more cities through loveontheworld.com.
- Equipping churches — training ordinary believers to pray for people, share their testimony and explain the gospel clearly.
- Thy Kingdom Network — the wider family of ministries, platforms and builders, including Water Well Project.

Why we serve with e3 Canada

We serve in partnership with e3 Canada, whose mission is to equip believers to evangelize and establish multiplying, life-changing churches. Its three words — equip, evangelize, establish — describe exactly what we believe a lasting move of God needs.
Crowds come and go. Multiplication is what lasts. Paul gave Timothy the pattern:
“The things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
2 Timothy 2:2
That is four generations of disciples in one sentence. It’s why we don’t just want to share Jesus with people; we want to raise up people who share Jesus — who raise up more people who share Jesus. One street conversation can become a household, a workplace, a church, a city.
The harvest is ready

“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.”
Matthew 9:37–38
We believe Canada is on the edge of the greatest revival it has ever seen — not because of a mood, but because week after week we keep meeting people who are genuinely hungry for God. People nobody else stops for. People who say, “No one has ever offered to pray for me before.”
And we keep our eyes on where the story ends:
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.”
Revelation 7:9
That multitude is being gathered right now — one conversation, one prayer, one yes at a time.
Those who send share the reward
Here is something many believers have never been told: in God’s economy, the ones who send are as much a part of the mission as the ones who go.
“How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”
Romans 10:14–15
When David’s army came home from battle, some soldiers wanted to keep the spoils for those who had fought. David refused:
“As his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.”
1 Samuel 30:24
That is partnership. Paul thanked the Philippians for their “fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now” (Philippians 1:5), and told them their giving was “fruit that may abound to your account” (Philippians 4:17). Every person who meets Jesus through this ministry is fruit credited to the account of those who prayed and gave. John called such people “fellowhelpers to the truth” (3 John 1:8).
You may never stand on a cold corner at midnight praying with a stranger. But you can be there just the same.

They that turn many to righteousness
“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
Daniel 12:3
Wells will one day crumble. Every dollar will be spent. But a soul that meets Jesus is forever. There is no better investment on earth than people who will be in heaven because someone went — and someone sent.
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
Isaiah 6:8
Let’s plunder hell and populate heaven — together, in Jesus’ name.
